Kobbari Podi is one of the most beloved condiments in Andhra kitchens — dry-roasted coconut ground with warming spices into a coarse, aromatic powder. Our version adds moringa leaf, one of the most nutrient-dense plants known, alongside turmeric and black pepper — a pairing where piperine in pepper increases curcumin absorption from turmeric by up to 20 times. Dried coconut provides lauric acid, a medium-chain fatty acid with documented antimicrobial and anti-inflammatory properties.
